Obituary of Ruth Hamm

Ruth M. Hamm (nee Odom), age 94, of West Berlin, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on August 5th 2018 surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of the late Earl Hamm, Sr; daughter of the late Lloyd and Ruth Odom. Ruth is survived by her devoted son Harvey L. Harris (Nellie) of Blackwood and daughter Loretta Mikulski (Lynn) of West Berlin; dear sisters Ella Mittlestadt of Vineland, NJ, Margaret Freeman of Claxton, GA, Judy Odom of Haddon Heights, NJ, and Trudy Odom of Haddon Heights, NJ and dear brother John Odom of Kansas City, MO. Ruth was also predeceased by daughter Ruth Walter (John), brothers Lloyd, Winston and Phillip, a sister Violet Beth and step-son Earl Hamm, Jr.

Treasured grandmother of nine: Diane (Gene), Joanne (Harry), Frank (Marie), Heather, Christopher, Dawn (Eric), Brian (Meghan), David and Terri. Cherished great-grandmother of Lisa, Leonard, Leanne, Lori, Melissa, Dylan, Luke, Kenny, Brady, Autumn, Rachel and Alyssa; adored great-great grandmother of Jordan and Koda. Ruth was a passionate traveler and loved to explore other countries with family members and sometimes alone.

Relatives and friends are invited to Ruth's viewing at Hope United Methodist Church, 700 Cooper Rd, Voorhees, NJ 08043, from 11:30 to 1:00PM Thursday August 9th 2018 services to follow at 1:00 PM. Burial at Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veteran's Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations in Ruth's memory to be made to the SJ Breast Cancer Coalition, 78 S. White Horse Pike #1, Berlin, NJ 08009
