Obituary of Richard P. Werkley
Richard P. Werkley, suddenly went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2016, at the age of 74.
Beloved husband of 44 years to Sheila G. (nee O'Kane).of Somerdale. Devoted father of: Kristian D. Werkley of Lindenwold. Dear brother of June Jacobson of Glendora, April Calladonato of Somerdale, Elsie Kelley of San Jose , CA, the late Robert Werkley and the late
Carol Ragone. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.:
Richard was born and raised in Philadelphia. He graduated from Haddon Heights H. S. Class of 1960. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a former Troop Leader and district Commissioner for the Boy Scout of America. Richard devoted many hours to Mater Ecclesiae Church and Knights of Columbus Council # 12833. He enjoyed Sail Boating on Barnegat Bay. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited his viewing Saturday (12/17) 9:30 to10:45 am at Mater Ecclesiae Church, 261 Cross-Keys Road, Pine Hill, where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Gate of Heaven Cem., Berlin. Richard's family requests in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to Mater Ecclesiae Church, 261 Cross-Keys Road, Berlin P.O., NJ 08009.»(Do not delete this line. It does not print.
