Obituary of Ellen A. Matteo

Ellen A. Matteo (nee Fetters), of Washington Twp. formerly of Berlin and Holiday City died on November 23, 2016, at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Dominick J "Dick". Matteo, Jr. Devoted mother of Richard J. (Patricia) Matteo, Sr. of Mays Landing and Theresa A. Matteo of Yardley, PA. Loving grandmother of Sherrie Matteo Richard J. Matteo, Jr. and Brian Matteo. Proud great-grandmother of Jerimy Moskovitz, Jade Moskovitz, Richard J. Matteo, III, Luke Matteo, Dominick Matteo and Bradley Matteo. Dear sister of Genevieve Stebbins, the late Mary Schuld, the late Frances Siedlecki and the late Cecelia Fetters Ellen was born and raised in Phila. She and Dick were married for 67 years when Dick passed in 2011. They lived in Berlin for 55 years and were members of Mt. Carmel for 65 years. For 30 years Ellen was the cook for the Sisters of Mercy. She was a former member of OLMC Regional School PTA, a former member and past president of the Altar and Rosary Society. She will be sadly missed by all how known her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday (11/28) 9:30 to 10:45 AM at St. Simon Stock Parish/ Our Lady of Mt.
