Obituary of Joseph A. Williams
Joseph A. Williams, of West Berlin slipped into God's loving arms on October 7, 2016, at the Fountains at Cedar Parke at the age of 90.
Beloved husband of the late Dawn J. (Adam) Williams. Devoted father of Denise J. (Bill) Conn of West Berlin, Kurt J. (Terry) Williams of Tabernacle, Michele D. (Don) Roemer of West Berlin, Renee R.(the late Jim) Hastings of Williamstown, Scot A. (Cindy) Williams of Voorhees and Gregg A. (Mary) Williams of West Berlin. Loving grandfather of Douglas Roemer; Ryan (Erin) Roemer; Doc. Jaime (Carmin) Fuscellaro, Doc. Amy Williams, Tracy (Joseph) Moyer; Stephanie (Bart) White, Billy Conn, Kelly Anne (Scott) Airey, Bryan Williams, Melissa Williams , Meaghan Williams and Allison Williams. Proud great-grandfather of Bryce Airey, Mikaela White, Annabelle Fuscellaro and Meredith Fuscellaro. Dear brother of Frank Williams..
Joe was born and raised in Phila. He graduated from Central High School Class # 181 in 1944. Served his country in the Army during WWII. After returning home recieved his B. S. in Education from LaSalle Univ. in 1949. Taught for a short time and became an Administrator for the Phila. School District. In 1958 recieved his. M.A. in Education from Temple. Became the Board Secretary for BerlinTwp. Schools retired after 25 years. Joe enjoyed traveling with Dawn all over the Country. He was also known to place a few bets on the ponies locally and at Churchill Downs.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday (10/11) from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the Giosa Funeral Home, 171 Haddon Avenue, West Berlin. where a celebration of Joe's life will begin at 11:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Cremation and Entombment will take place privately. Joe's family requests in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
