Obituary of Rita A. Farina

Rita A. Farina (nee Siderio), slipped into God's loving arms peacefully on July 28, 2015, at her home in West Berlin surrounded by her loving family at age 94. Beloved wife of the late Albert J. Farina, Sr. Devoted mother of Maria R. (the late James) O'Brien of Berlin, the late Albert J. Farina, Jr. and the late Joseph D. Farina, Sr. Loving grandmother of Lisa Castano (Troy) of West Berlin, Rachel Farina and Joseph D. Farina, Jr both of FL, Proud great grandmother of Michael A. Castano (Melissa) of Nanuet, NY and Gina Castano of West Berlin, also 2 other great grandchildren. Dear sister of Angela Carrado of West Berlin. Rita was a hardworking homemaker who cared for her husband, children, family and friends. She loved to cook and made sure there was always plenty for everyone. She was a former bowler in her younger days and enjoyed knitting an crocheting. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family Friday (7/31) 9:30 to 11 AM at St. Simon Stock Parish/ Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 178 W. White Horse Pike at Franklin Ave, Berlin, where her Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 am at the Church. Interment of her cremated remains will follow at Gate of Heaven Cem. Rita's family requests in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr. Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053
