Ed was born in Meta, Mo and grew up on a farm in St. Anthony, MO. He was a Navy Veteran of WW II served his country on the USS San Carlos during the Philippine Iinvasion receiving a bronze star for Philippine Liberation and another for the Asian-Pacific Conflict. While in the Navy he received extensive training as an Aviation Radio Technician attaining the rank of 1st Class. After the war Ed went to work for RCA in St. Louis becoming their first master technicianand he retired after 34 years as an Instructor for all electrical technicians in the West-Central Region. He was devoted to his family and his religion. He was a charter member of the St. Vincent dePaul Society at St. Thomas More Church, Cherry Hill and an active and loyal member of the OLMC St. Vincent. dePaul Society, Berlin, running its Food Pantry for many years. Ed loved to work with his hands on anything electronic and was able to repair toaters to air conditions by looking at the electrical schematic design rather than following a set of instruction. Ed will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

What a wonderful obit about your Father Bob. Really wish that I had the chance to meet such a great person. He sounds alot like my late Father who fought in World War II. I hope that the memories you shared with your Father, will sustain you through these tough times.
