Obituary of Ann C. King
Ann C. King (nee Carroll), went to be with the Lord on March 23, 2015, after a courageous battle with Lung Cancer.
Beloved daughter of the late Peter and the late Bridgid Carroll.
Devoted mother of John R. and his wife Marhya King of Voorhees, Carol and her husband Ken Rothwein of Berlin, Chris King of Voorhees and Theresa King of Berlin. Loving and proud grandmother of Michael Ryan, Ashley, Kelli, JP and Justin. Dear sister of Thomas Carroll of New York City, Rita Salemo of River Edge, NJ and the late Peter Carroll.
Ann was born and raised in New York City. She received her nursing diploma from Bellevue Hosp., NYC. Ann served her country as a 1st Lieutenant in the Air Force during Vietnam. She worked as a Registered Nurse for Virtua Berlin for 25 yrs retiring in 2005. Ann was devoted to her family and loved pampering her grandchildren whenever she could. She enjoyed knitting, playing Chinese checkers and volunteering for Caring Hospice. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Friday 3/27 10:30 to 11:45 AM at St. Simon Stock Parish/ Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 178 W. White Horse Pike at Franklin Ave, Berlin,
where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 12 Noon.
Interment with Military Honors will follow at Gate of Heaven Cem., Berlin. Ann's family requests in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory be made to the Lung Cancer Alliance, P.O. Box 418372, Boston, MA 02241
