Obituary of Eleanor K. LaPollo
Eleanor K. LaPollo (nee Gerber), went to be with her Lord and her beloved husband Fred on,
March 10, 2015, at her daughter's home in Kintnersville, PA.at age 94.
Beloved wife of 60 years to the late Alfred D. Sr. who predeceased her in 1999.
Devoted mother of John J. Sr. of Hereford, AZ, Eleanor K. Ivins of Kintnersville, PA, The late Dolores and the late Alfred D. Jr. Loving grandmother of Alfred D. III, Donna Marino, Natalie Fisch, Joseph M., John A., John J. Jr., Christopher M., Christian M. and Tara K. Ivins. Proud
great grandmother of 13 and great-great grandmother of 10. Dear sister of William Gerber of Franklinville, and George Gerber of Deptford.
Eleanor was a devoted to her husband and family. She would always greet you with a smile on her face and was gracious and generous to those she welcomed into their home. Eleanor was a vital assistant to Fred while he operated Kresson Auto Parts and Fred's Transmission in Voorhees for 45 years serving as the business's accountant, while raising their four children. After Fred retired, they enjoyed visits with and spoiling their 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Monday 3/16, 10:15 to 11:15 AM at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 27 Kresson- Gibbsboro Road, Gibbsboro, NJ. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 11:30 AM at the Church. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cem., Berlin.
