Lou,
I was sorry to hear of your mom's passing. It was great to see you at the PVI reunion last Fall. I remember a lot of great times over at your house, hanging in your basement. Your mom was always so welcoming and willing to chat. That seemed like such a long time ago. We will keep you in our thoughts during this time.

Dear Carol Ann and Louis,
Please accept our deepest condolences for the passing of your mom. Though I don't remember you, Carol Ann, I do have some great memories of Louie on the fields at the Kennedy school, over 50 years ago. The Williams girls, the Unangst boys, the Harveys and probably some others I just don't remember now. Playing baseball, tennis and whatever sport was in season at the time. I remember your mom and dad would walk over to the fields and watch. But they didn't just watch, they made it a point to engage with the kids. Of course at the time it didn't seem like anything but it made a lasting impression. Every time I pass the homestead on Franklin, I look over and wonder how everyone is. Now I know. Your parents are in a better place now with good company, as most of their generation has moved on, including both of my parents. I wonder if there is a West Berlin social group? God bless you and your families.
