Anthony J. Recchinti, on June 7, 2020, age 94 of West Berlin, NJ. Beloved husband of the late Gloria Recchinti (nee Simonelli). Loving father of Mark (the late Michele) Recchinti and the late Patricia Negron Castaneda. Cherished grandfather of Rachel Negron, Brandon (Jenny) Warming, David (Priscilla) Negron and Joey Negron. Anthony was a proud US Navy Veteran serving during World War II in the Pacific Theater; then spent his civilian career working at New York Shipbuilding in Camden and the Phila. Naval Shipyard.
He was an avid reader, especially of books about baseball and World War II, and he loved doing crossword puzzles. A lifelong fan of Philadelphia sports teams, he was a season ticket-holder for many years; and attended the 1960 NFL Championship Game at Franklin Field when the Eagles defeated the Green Bay Packers. Anthony could often be found sitting on his porch listening to the Phillies game on his transistor radio.
