Thomas F. Brennan, Sr.

Brennan, Thomas F. Sr., 84, of Berlin, NJ, born January 30, 1935, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.  Beloved husband of Maureen E. Brennan (nee Gambon).  Dear father of Thomas (Brenda) Brennan, Jr., Eileen (mari) Brennan, Christopher (Marsha) Brennan, Jeffrey (Ann) Brennan and Maureen Brennan.  Loving grandfather of Thomas (Robin) Brennan, III, Michael (Leah) Brennan, Daniel Brennan, Lance (Randi) Brennan, David (McKenzie) Brennan, Stephen Brennan and Daniel Brennan; treasured great-grandfather of Lance, Jr., Benjamin, Nora, Levi, Mitchell and Camilla. Survived by his sister Marcella Davis Williams (Jesse) and children. Preceded in death by his father James Brennan, his mother Rose Paradiso Brennan Davis and brothers Jim and Jack.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Tom was a true Philly Sports Fanatic.  Tom proudly served his country during the 1950’s in the United States Marine Corps.  He continued to help protect his country while working at RCA/GE on the development of the Aegis missile defense system. In another form of service, Tom was an active participant in Berlin Borough government for several years.  Tom was instrumental in organizing, assisting or hosting celebrations and parties of all types with family and friends.

Within our family circle, Dad was well-known for dancing with Mom in the living room, making and enjoying his holiday egg nog; and he was notorious for his unapologetic willingness to sing loudly and enthusiastically at every possible opportunity! We are already finding ourselves quoting him and missing him.

Relatives and friends are invited to Tom’s visitation at St. Simon Stock Parish/Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, NJ 08009 on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 from 9:30-10:30 AM where his Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:30AM.

For those who desire, memorial contributions in Tom’s memory may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ. 08053.
