Mary Ellen

(nee Corvino), of West Berlin formerly of Gibbsboro died on January 19, 2012, at Virtua Berlin after a short illness at age 71.
Beloved wife of the late Frank A. Sr. Devoted mother of Cindy J. (Chas) Thawley of Gibbsboro, Linda (Jim) Madgey of South Portland, ME and Robert F. McAndrew of West Berlin. Loving grandmother of Jimmy (Amanda) Madgey, Jessica Madgey, Gregory (Samantha) Madgey, Stephanie Sproul, Anthony Thawley and, Jason Thawley. Proud great grandmother of Evan, Jacob, Cassady and Rider. Mary Ellen was one of 14 Children and is survived by her dear sisters and brothers Mildred Galasso, Sara Harbeson, Florence Kazmer, William Corvino, Jack Corvino, Francis Corvino and Ronald Corvino.
Mary Ellen was born in Camden. She was a graduate of Audubon High School and Camden Co. College where she received her Associate's Degree in accounting. For over 20 years she was the office manager for Berlin Family Practice in Berlin and her family wishes to thank Dr. John A. LaRatta for his friendship and care to Mary Ellen. She was a hard working, fun loving person who enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Monday 9:30 to 11:30 am at the Giosa Funeral Home, 171 Haddon Avenue, West Berlin, where her Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:30 am. Burial at Cedar Grove Cem., Gibbsboro.
