Age 48 of Erial, on July 10, 2010, after a courageous two year battle with cancer.
Beloved husband for 27 years of Adrienne A. (nee Pfluger) Murphy of Erial, formerly of Albion. Devoted father of Erin N. and her husband Kevin Brown of Pine Hill, Kyle P. Murphy and Jordan T. Murphy both of Erial. Proud and loving grandfather of Mackenzie Jordan Brown.
Joe graduated from Paul VI H.S. in 1980 and was a member of the school's 1980 State Champion Basketball Team. He worked for The Cura Group of Mt. Laurel for 13 years. He was a published author of the book "Hit and Run". Joe prided himself on being a man of the Lord, and that he was. Never taking "no" for an answer, but hearing an all resounding "yes" from the Lord he strove to not only be an example to his family but to anyone who would lend an ear to hear about his Jesus that her loved so much.
