(nee Chladney), on February 19, 2010 at Virtua Health West Jersey Hosp., Voorhees, of Gibbsboro, formerly of Pennsauken., at the age of 87.
Beloved wife of 67 years to Robert Hofstrom. Devoted mother of Robert A. Hofstrom and wife Tracy of Medford Twp., the late Rosann H. Kasuba and husband Peter of Voorhees and the late Ingrid J. Lavery and husband Jim of Cherry Hill. Loving Mum-Mum of Alexander Hofstrom, Kristin Troop, Peter Kasuba, James Lavery, Robert Kasuba, Andrew Lavery and Linnea Hofstrom. Proud great grandmother of 11. Also survived by her friend and caregiver Doris Tetta.
Helen was a kind and loving person to all who knew her. Devoted to her church, husband and family. She helped to care for her daughter Ingrid's children after her death. Helen enjoyed sowing, knitting and going out to diner with Bob and visiting Long Beach Island. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing and funeral Monday 9:30 to 10:45am at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Rte. 561 & Kresson-Gibbsboro Rd., Gibbsboro. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 11am at the church. Burial will follow in Locustwood Mem. Park, Cherry Hill. Helen's family requests in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory be made to St. Andrew the Apostle, Blessed Mother Statue Fund, 120 United States Ave., Gibbsboro, NJ 08026.
