Dorothy J. "Gammer"

(nee McIntosh) Suddenly on February 8, 2010, of Berlin at the age of 88.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Jackson. Devoted mother of Carol Ann "Christy" and husband Gary Ames of Central Point, OR, Joseph M. and wife Bea Jackson of West Berlin, Lynne F. and husband Walter Marshall of Atco and the late Thomas W. Warner. Loving grandmother of 7 and proud great grandmother of 10.
Dot was a Register Nurse at Monongalia Gen. Hosp. in Morgantown, WV retiring with over 25 years of service. She was an avid fan of the Univ. of West Virginia Mountaineers Football team. Dot enjoyed Wednesday bingo and cards with her friends at Berlin Senior Citizens, and going to Shop Rite. Dot was looking forward to meeting her newest great grandson Elijah Thomas Ames, which her untimely death prevented. Dot was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a friend to all. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Dorothy's family on Sat. May 1 from 10 to 11 am at the Giosa Funeral Home 171 Haddon Ave. West Berlin, where her Memorial Services will begin at 11am. Interment of her cremated remains will follow in Berlin Cem. with her husband. Dot's family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Berlin Boro.
