(nee DeBergh), went to be with the Lord at home surrounded by her family on January 30, 2010, after a courageous battle against cancer at the age of 50..
Beloved wife of 29 yrs. to Jeffery L. Devoted mother of Jeffery C. Geckle and his fianceé Angela M. Davey, Daniel R. Geckle and his fianceé Brooke R. Schuyler. Proud grandmother of Gavin R. A. Geckle. Loving daughter of Charles A. and Kathryn A. (nee Connolly) DeBergh. Dear sister of Charles J. DeBergh and wife Chrissy, Lou Ann Byars and husband Ron, Rita Silvestro-Newman and husband David, Joyce M. Davidson and Christopher DeBergh and friend Betty. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved. Dear and special friend of Bea and Steven B. Raiker. Denise grew up in Gibbsboro and was a graduate of Eastern H.S. She was a longtime member of BTAA. She enjoyed spending weekends and summers at Ocean View Campground and loved being on the beach at Sea Isle City.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation FRIDAY 11:30 AM to 12:45 pm at St. Simon Stock Parish/ Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Campus, White Horse Pike at Franklin Ave, Berlin, NJ 08009 where her Funeral Mass will begin FRIDAY at 1PM. Interment Berlin Cem. Denise's family requests in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory be made to The Ronald McDonald House c/o the above church address
